Hi! I’m so happy you made it here!

I created this space for sharing my recipes and ideas back in 2014, when I left my busy media career in Sydney and made the sea change to Byron Bay with my chef partner Darren to open a restaurant on a farm.

When I fell pregnant with my first child, I delved a bit deeper into the world of wholefoods, Ayurveda and Chinese medicine, focusing on post natal nourishment and learning about how to lay the best food foundations for my children. In 2017, I released my first cook cook Happy and Whole

My approach is about enjoying real wholefoods, the way our mothers and grandmothers used to eat. Taking the time to prepare our own meals, connecting with the people we eat with (and grow our food) and balance. Yes it’s nourishing- but it must taste good! It’s not about cutting things out, but about listening to your body and including as much deliciousness as possible. And, importantly, it must be achievable. I’m a mum of two young boys, so my recipes are simple and forgiving. I hope you love them as much as we do.

What it says! Easy and nourishing one-pot meals that essentially cook themselves while you get on with your life!
Stews, soups, curries, chicken dinners, baked fish…I love it all.

BAKING

My favourite from-scratch baked treats and sweets for kids, birthdays, new mums, celebrations and afternoon tea. Sometimes, nothing else will hit the spot like a good old fashioned cake with cream, and that is good for the soul.

POSTNATAL

Here is a growing collection of my favourite recipes and ideas to nourish the new mother through the sacred months of pregnancy, breast feeding and beyond.

Essentials

From home-made passata to stock, these are my go-to basics for the fridge, freezer and pantry that will make quick, healthy meals and transform dishes from good to great! They are also cheap and are particularly good for adding a super dose of nourishment to kids meals without any hassles.
